If you want to become a secret shopper, then you have to be good at keeping secrets! Always keep your cool, even when you think you've been exposed during a shopping asignment!
If a clerk asks if you are a secret shopper you should always play dumb and say you don't know what that means. You should never compromise the identity of your client by revealing your work.
One tip: store staff love to try to figure out who the mystery shopper is, as it's like a kind of puzzle to them, and they look for any sort of odd behavior that sticks out from the norm, so be careful!!
